Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms apply when you use this website and when you order food from Cheeky Charlie's Caribbean Takeaway ("Cheeky Charlie's", "we", "us"). Please read them before you order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal information.
1. Who we are
Cheeky Charlie's is a Caribbean takeaway serving the Bournemouth and Christchurch area. Orders can be collected from Russell Court Hotel, Bournemouth.

2. Using our website
Our website is free to use and is provided for general information about our food, offers and opening times. We may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or free from errors.
3. Menu, prices and offers
- Our menu, prices, offers, delivery charges and opening times on this website are a guide and can change without notice. Dishes are subject to availability.
- We'll confirm the price of your order, including any delivery charge, when you order. The price we confirm is the price you pay. If we spot a mistake in a price on our website, we'll tell you before we prepare your order.
- Meal deals and special offers are available while stocks last and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Where an offer has conditions (such as a minimum order value or pre-ordering), we'll confirm them when you order.
- Photos are for illustration. Portions and presentation may vary.
4. Allergies and dietary requirements
Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, fish and shellfish. If you have a food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, please tell us every time you order, before we prepare your food.
Information about the 14 major allergens in our dishes is available on request, in line with the Food Information Regulations 2014. Please ask us when you order. Even where a dish doesn't contain an allergen as an ingredient, we can't guarantee it is completely free from traces.
5. Ordering
How to order
You can order by phone or WhatsApp on 07974 883991 or by messaging our Facebook page (our "Order Online" buttons take you there). Your order is accepted, and a contract between us is formed, when we confirm it to you.
Collection, delivery and eat-in
- Collection: from Russell Court Hotel, Bournemouth.
- Delivery: available within our delivery area (around a 3-mile radius). A minimum order value and delivery charge may apply; we'll confirm these when you order.
- Eat-in: available on the days shown on our website, in the bar area at Russell Court Hotel. On other days we offer collection and delivery only.
- Collection and delivery times are estimates. We'll let you know if there's a delay. Please make sure someone is available to receive a delivery and that the phone number you give us is correct.
Payment
Delivery orders are cash only. Card payment is available at Russell Court Hotel. Payment is due on collection or delivery.
Changing or cancelling your order
If you need to change or cancel your order, call or message us as soon as possible. Once we've started preparing your food, we may not be able to change or cancel it. Because food is made to order and perishes quickly, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply to food orders.
6. If something is wrong with your order
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the food we supply must be as described and of satisfactory quality, and our service must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If something is wrong with your order, please tell us straight away (ideally when you collect or receive it) so we can put it right, for example by replacing the item or giving you a refund or price reduction. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
7. Our content and intellectual property
The content of this website, including our name, logo, text and photos, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may view it and print or save pages for your own personal use, but you may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Other names and logos shown on or linked from our website, such as Facebook and WhatsApp, belong to their owners.
8. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse our website. You must not use it for anything unlawful or harmful, try to gain unauthorised access to it or the systems that host it, or introduce viruses or other harmful material.
9. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites and services, such as Facebook and WhatsApp. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they work. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
10. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.
- If we don't meet these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure or our lack of reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss or damage that wasn't foreseeable.
- We supply our food and website for domestic and private use. We're not responsible for business losses, such as loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
- We take reasonable care to keep our website accurate and secure, but we can't guarantee it is free from errors, bugs or viruses. Please use your own virus protection.
11. Complaints
If you're unhappy with anything, please contact us using the details in section 1 and we'll do our best to sort it out quickly. If we can't resolve things, you can get free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
